The narration was originally by Damon but he felt it sounded inauthentic and strained. Actor Phil Daniels had been contacted about providing the narration for 'The Debt Collector', but when Damon failed to finish the lyric for that, he got Phil to do 'Parklife' instead. When the video was edited to appear as a television commercial, Blur weren't allowed to use the scene with Graham in a shopping trolley - the Advertising Standards Authority said it was "violent misuse of a shopping trolley"!!! |
